Morinaga Nutritional Foods Vietnam (MNFV), part of the Morinaga Milk Industry Group, focuses on implementing advanced technology and green production practices to impact the Vietnamese market positively. MNFV is integrating Morinaga Milk’s century-long expertise to introduce innovative, environmentally conscious products.
MNFV offers products like Climeal, containing 10 billion postbiotics LAC-Shield, along with 27 vitamins & minerals, calcium, protein, and fiber. The company also imports other products from Japan, including Nutritional Powder Milk Plus, enriched with nutrients like lactoferrin, Bifidobacterium longum BB536, and others. Tsururinko Quickly, a food thickener for dysphagia patients, and BB536 Probiotics Powder, a supplement for intestinal health since 1969, are also part of their product line.
The MNFV facilities operate under international standards including FSSC 22000 and ISO certifications (ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45000:2018, ISO 9001:2015). The production utilizes technology from global leaders like TETRA PAK for packaging and liquid food processing. The facility has been recognized with awards like the ‘Asia Top Brand Award 2024’ and ‘Asia Quality Products and Service 2024.’
Morinaga Nutritional Foods Vietnam: Environmental initiatives
MNFV has implemented several sustainability measures, including a 938kWp rooftop solar power system developed with Marubeni Green Power Vietnam, aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 610 tons annually. The company has transitioned to a biomass steam system using wood pellets, reducing costs and emissions significantly. Environmentally friendly packaging options have been adopted across their product range, utilizing biodegradable materials such as paper boxes and biomass-blended caps.
