Beyond Oil USA, a food-tech company with patented oil purification technology, has announced a strategic partnership with Eazy Grease, a used cooking oil recycling company contracted with more than 6,700 customers. The collaboration delivers an end-to-end solution that transforms restaurant frying oil management from extended use to responsible recycling.
The partnership combines Beyond Oil’s FDA-approved filter powder, which extends frying oil life from 2-3 days to 35-45 days, with Eazy Grease’s multi-state collection and recycling services. The integrated system enables restaurants to reduce oil consumption while ensuring used oil is recycled into renewable fuels.
Beyond Oil’s patented powder neutralizes harmful compounds including free fatty acids, trans fats, acrylamide, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Studies show a 93% reduction in acrylamide and improved food quality. When oil requires replacement, Eazy Grease’s collection network ensures recycling into high-quality renewable fuels.
“This partnership represents a paradigm shift in how the food service industry approaches frying oil management,” said Artem Kamalov, Chief Strategy Officer at Eazy Grease. “By integrating Beyond Oil’s revolutionary filtration technology with our recycling infrastructure, we’re creating a true circular economy model. Restaurants can keep their oil fresher for weeks instead of days, reduce costs and environmental impact, and when that oil is finally ready for disposal, we ensure it’s transformed into renewable energy.”
The U.S. food service industry consumes billions of gallons of frying oil annually. The partnership addresses multiple sustainability challenges including reduced virgin oil production demand, lower waste volumes, enhanced renewable fuel quality, and significant carbon footprint reduction. Every kilogram of vegetable oil saved eliminates approximately 4 kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions.
Service integration and environmental impact
Restaurants participating in the program receive Beyond Oil’s certified filter powder, which has received approvals from the FDA, Health Canada, NSF, and Kosher and Halal certification bodies. The package includes Eazy Grease’s complete services including free collection bins, scheduled pickups, and rebates for qualifying customers.
The circular economy model created by the partnership allows restaurants to maximize the productive life of frying oil before it enters the recycling stream. The extended oil life reduces the frequency of oil purchases and disposal, while the recycling component ensures that used oil becomes feedstock for renewable fuel production rather than waste.
Beyond Oil USA operates as a food-tech company with more than 15 years of experience creating solutions that reduce health risks and costs while improving sustainability. The company’s filtration technology has been designed to address both food quality and environmental concerns in commercial kitchen operations.
Eazy Grease serves commercial kitchens throughout the United States, providing used cooking oil collection and recycling services that transform fryer waste into renewable fuels. The company’s existing customer base of more than 6,700 accounts provides an established distribution network for the combined service offering.
The partnership represents an integration of two separate sustainability approaches—extending resource use and enabling proper end-of-life recycling—into a single system that addresses the full lifecycle of commercial frying oil. The model demonstrates how oil management can be optimized for both operational efficiency and environmental responsibility in the food service sector.
